Green Classics
Over
sixty years ago, Joseph Green (1900-1996) began making Yiddish movies in
Poland, collaborating with many of the outstanding artists of the Yiddish
world, both here and there. The outbreak of war brought an end to that
era. These four films are a precious legacy.
